Imsouane is a tiny fishing village with dramatic sandy cliffs surrounding a gorgeous bay
It is also a very famous surfing spot
At one point I counted 150 surfers in the water!
There is a lovely laid back and very friendly atmosphere with people here from all over the world
We made friends with a very sweet stray dog who we named Dobbs
There is a local charity looking after the dogs here so she had all her vaccines and has been sterilised. She loved the attention we gave her and she stayed and guarded our vans for us when we went out, barking at anyone else who came near.
I thought about signing up to a surf school and joining the crowds but I was still not feeling well and decided to use the time to rest and get back to feeling 100%
I explored, sat on the beach under my parasol, read my book, and drank lots of freshly squeezed orange juice in a cafe with a great view of the surfers – they are fun to watch
By the end of our stay here I was pretty much back to myself and enjoyed a little body board
Next post will be featuring my mum who has come to visit me for a week!
