After hearing lots of horror stories about overcrowded cities, harassment of tourists and dodgy deals, we walked into Tangier with apprehension
What we found was calm white washed streets, friendly locals and light hearted haggling
We drank mint tea
Shopped in the market
Admired the architecture
And ate our first Moroccan tagine
It was an amazing first day on the African continent
