I spent 5 days working my way down this wild and relatively unknown stretch of coast just below Lisbon
With parking spots like this
And little fishing villages like this
It’s illegal to wild camp along this coast and the police do an evening patrol, the first 2 nights I managed to park after they’d passed and woke up with cliff top views
But then after encountering an angry local I decided to have a couple of nights on a campsite
Which had a lovely swimming pool
During the day I visited beaches like this
A delightful week of sun, sea and sand.
Now I head to the famous Algarve!
